Brotherhood 2016

The Brotherhood offers the men of Temple Sinai the opportunity to build and strengthen friendships, support the operation and community of Temple Sinai, and to do mitzvot for the greater Burlington area.

Brotherhood has many events and activities planned for 2016. In conjunction with the Social Action Committee and the 5th Grade Religious School parents Brotherhood hosted the 5th Grade class folk/youth service and dinner on February 5. Brotherhood will also be involved in the Temple's Purim Party on March 26 and plans to arrange for Kosher wines to be tasted at several Onegs before Passover with an opportunity for the congregation to order the wines. Brotherhood will be very involved in Temple's Jubilee celebration on June 24-26, and will organize and conduct the Temple Work Day on June 5. As usual Brotherhood will arrange for High Holiday ushering and Sukkah construction and takedown, and will host a Shabbat service and Oneg. Other events under consideration are a Trivia Game Night and Dinner, a Movie Night and perhaps a Jewish Humor Night.

Dues are $18 annually (suggested optional level is $25) and can be sent to or dropped off at the Temple office in the Brotherhood mailbox. We also have available "official" Brotherhood t-shirts. Remember you do not have to be a Temple or Brotherhood member to participate in our activities--all are welcome!
